White and Nerdy

About Me

The first time I was exposed to cosplay was when I attended my first convention in 2014 (MegaCon Orlando). I was in awe of all the cosplayers who were in these gorgeous costumes, showing off their work and their love for a character, completely accepted and even admired. I had a eureka moment walking around that convention hall, that being a geek wasn't something that one needed to hide, but rather something that can be celebrated.
I'm in my first year of grad school at University of Florida. Two years from now, I shall be a Master of Education in Educational Technology. Translation: I endeavor to make learning cool.
I'm 20 years old and I live with my parents (BUT I SWEAR I'M NOT THAT TYPE!) because I'm still in school and they're awesome enough to let me stay here through my Master's.
I have a part-time job as a substitute teacher, mainly at two high schools and one middle school. I love my job because I can take my college work with me as long as the kids are behaving and doing their own work properly.
My hobbies include playing Legend of Zelda, fiddling in Unreal Engine (and getting freaked out by the flight simulation), planning cosplays half a year in advance, and making ordered lists.
My favorite characters include:
1. Castiel (Supernatural)
2. Midna (Twilight Princess)
3. 10th Doctor (Doctor Who)
4. 11th Doctor (Doctor Who)
5. Charlie Bradbury(Supernatural)
6. Peggy Carter (Avengers)
7. Natasha Romanoff (Avengers)
8. Felicity Smoak (Arrow)
9. Cisco Ramon (The Flash)
10. Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter)

And I know I'm forgetting some. As far as real, actual people, you'll find me forever swooning over:
- Benedict Cumberbatch
- Jensen Ackles
- Scarlett Johansson
- Hayley Atwell
- Jennifer Lawrence
and many others.
